Right then, lets see who has any views on politics.
Now most, possibly only some, should know we have an election coming up which has left me in a quandry as to where to place my vote. (I do actually know who I'm going to vote for but ain't telling.)
So talking hypothetically.
Should I vote for the party that appeals to me the most ? (The "I like" vote)
Should I vote for the party that I think are going to win ? (The "Grand National" vote )
Or.
Should I vote for the party that are most likely to stop the Party I don't want to win ? ( The "one finger salute" vote. )

Same quandary here. Do I vote for the party I would LIKE to get in, but I know won't. Or do I vote to block the party I most definitely DON'T want in.

In my constituency, you either vote for Alec Salmond of the SNP or you vote for the party best placed to stop him getting to Westminster.
I'll vote for the latter even though that party would not be my choice in a "normal" general election.

I flatly refuse to vote (again) for someone who blatanly lied to the electorate just to stop a party who panders to those looking for handouts without earning them from getting in.

So I will unashmedly vote UKIP for the first time because the more established less patriotic lot deserve a right good kicking.

The way that parties are making promises of giveaways to the electorate gives the impression that much of the electorate makes a simple: "what's in it for me?" choice.

I think that that is why the state has grown so huge since the war. ie candidates say: "Vote for me, and I shall spend more (of your own and other people's) money on you."

It does not matter who you vote for they will not think of you but how best to line their own pockets. Your wants will not be thought of and they will vote as they feel not what you want.

If I had to go to work in London no one will pay for a second home for me. I would have to pay my own travel and pay for B&B out of my pay packet.

I will not be voting this time as I am away and could not be bothered to do a postal vote so I will not be able to complain when it all goes pear shape.

I think the SNP, Greens and Pliad are all promising a second home, travel expenses and free B&B in their manifesto, if you ask any of their candidates.

But seriously, those things are between you and your employer. should you "have" to work in that evil, god-forsaken, pustule on our fair land.

You hit the nail on the head there WE are their employers and if they want the job why should us the tax payer have to pay for the second home . They want to work in the large town hall then they should make their own arrangement for living there out of their pocket NOT ours!

That might be OK for the member for Berkshire Hunt, but the members for Carlisle and Penzance... well, they might not be seen in their constituencies or the House of Commons very often.

Alternatively, perhaps basic accom on weekdays, near the House of Commons should be included with the job

All you can guarantee out of this election is more

1 benefits holiday makers from afar will turn up, yes it is a shame about all the boat people but why do we have to take them all oh cos no other sod wants them

3 continuation of young girls getting up the duff to get free housing, my x-wife was told in the early eighties when working and looking for a flat by the council oh if you were out of work and preggers get a flat tomorrow - 35 years on and the same sh*te still applies
4 giving into europe even though the rest of europe doesn't comply with all the rules we seem to have to comply with because of europe - my sons best friend when he was living in Paris was Brazilian. Because he was Brazilian he was paid less for the same job as a French person because he wasn't French - obviously that human rights sh*te doesn't apply in France
5 even more pc sh*te so i might as well get it out now before a gag order is put on me
