Ha yes, I had an ikkle fiddle of the winders etc. The display one's weren't wired up so I shamelessly asked em to oblige with an extension lead. Still that one didn't work so the guy asked the gaffer why - it turns out they sometimes borrow bits off display ones lol.
They went the extra mile and unpacked a new one for me, TBH that was partly what swung me, and the fact that they keep all the other bits there if I ever need them so I don't need to get everything in one hit.

i'm a bit different though rod. when i go in machine mart i look at the stuff and think. right where can i get one of them thats half the price and twice the quality!....nah its not all bad in there, but you have to pick yer stuff

Yer right about some of the stuff in there. To be honest I buy very little from there but they are useful to nip in for such as bandsaw blades instead of waiting for the local supplier to make one up.
Hand tools have to be Snap On where possible ..........lovely..............shiny............smooth............oooooh.............beautiful

Hadn't spotted that George - thanks for thinking of me.
I bought a brany table top one with some extras and tools yesterday afternoon. It fits onto the shelf in the pantry too, or even one of the cupboards in the kitchen. I only need an itssy bitsy one to try and better P60 size torches for night time guys.
