Hadn't heard all of those. Will keep them in mind for future use, just switching the brand to Ruger or Savage.

I did some work for a govt. department on a site with 7000 pairs of nesting seagulls. There were originally two pairs, but the govt. reps decided to poison the resident cat because it wasn't a 'native species'. One year later I'm sitting having lunch, reading the interdepartmental working paper on the seagull problem. Attempts included stringing bunting, fake owls, paying staff to chase the seagulls, hose the seagulls, paint the seagulls eggs with oil so they would die, etc. Nothing worked. No where in the 68 page document did anyone say "get a cat".

I was never attacked by the gulls though. Wasps? Yup. Hit em with an Estwing like I'm MacEnroe in a bad mood and they come straight back.Then there was the time we were three stories up and found the walls of the building were one massive beehive and they didn't like us hammering. Ended up hiding in a box gutter till they had calmed down.
