Ha, I don't have a website - I'm not that modern or well organised.

I'm just some (old) bloke with a bit of a knack for doing stuff in a shed to be be fair - looking to eventually retire with a little potter around business rather than keep picking up occasional low lifes in my cab of a night. I'm getting too old for that now - especially having been robbed by 5 Somalian scumbags just before Xmas. :shh:

Sorry Radders, I did have a glance at the thread regarding 39mm threads but if you knew how many M42 threads I'd scrapped with my sloppy hobby bench lathe you'd probably understand it's not up to the job of making precision large diameter threads with any repeatability - nor the tapping hole sizes.

I worry too about using F1.2 lenses with no iris and think it could be an issue with regard to the focus fussiness seen with the Photon - which needs a lens cap iris - really hope I am wrong on that for anyone going ahead with it. It's something I can monitor and get my CnC machinist friend to make if it could go in sufficient volumes for him to set the job up.

True. What's the point of a vampire movie where the vampires aren't pale and brooding? Also no need to hunt them with NV, so no fun at all.
