Nah, we used to steal them. Purely to look at people playing with beach balls you understand. Wondered why they didn't wear clothes for thatrodp wrote:Sure you didn't spend it on that "health and efficiency" book George
Just thinking, it might have been a Bar Six and not an Aztec. Deffo didn't buy a jubbly. It was winter.

Used to wait until my mates mother wanted us to get some bacon for her. The woman on the counter had to go to the meat counter to get the bacon and we'd stick the magazine down our trousers.

Re: Metal detecting
Can you still go out metal detecting if the ground is wet after all this rain, my mate recons you can't because it messes the signal up?

Yep, although you may get iffy signals. The coil should be waterproof so no problem there. I think it's will be a suck it and see as to what signal you get and what they mean.

Re: Metal detecting
I read that the garret wasnt as good as some on wet sand so I guess for the professional types you wouldn't get the depth, perhaps miss items and quite possibly get failse signals. I was out in the wet when I got mine and didn't really see any problems. It's just like shooting, you ain't gonna shoot owt if you don't at least get out..
I guess if you've got spare time get out and try it for yourself. Take care to protect the electrics if there's rain about though. That said as we all know I know nothing so take that with a pinch of salt
Edit: Rod you beat me to it. I didn't get the new post message. Has that changed since the forum upgrade?
