Adams quote >>>
Oh carry on, don't let me stop ya

N o ! it is wrong to go off thread and off topic further than I should have  , after all this a Night Vision Forum which has associated shooting, hunting, fishing, metal detecting, and general countryside interests and some other user friendly subject which all blend together to make the forum what it is. The odd wind-up is just about acceptable in the name of "humour" but serves no real value or purpose and waists forum space and time etc.
My defence only rests with thinking that with nearly 1,000 views someone must have had a laugh and a giggle at the "nuttiness" of the posts ??? so it's not all bad
Bad Phil  :x

To be honest, I thought he was joking  If he's concerned about derailing a thread, then he never reads my posts

I've got to meet him tomorrow, I'll pat him on the head and tell him not to be silly

 The older I get, the more my conscience "sometimes" ??? bothers me with hunger pains for savoury food and the need for some strong alcoholic refreshment  Seriously if Springy "Zebedee" Onion can't read between the lines and pick out the gist of the poor humour that has headed his way, he might and could well have a semi melt down and end up with an appointment with his favourite Medical Health Practitioner complaining that his newest best'est best friend on his favourite forum does not understand him ??? I might well have the blame for his mood swings and his latest rant :problem:

Phil, I think Mr Pickle is all grown up enough to know that whatever's said on here there's no malice intended. Methinks you fret too much

Dear hairy suit, I know your pain and i too feel the boredom of age and idle gossip and BBC Look Left. Would that our rhetoric could unite and move mountains. We are destined to joust you and I and i am glad to have found such a worthy and eloquent adversary. It has been many years and i have missed your company.

Yes Rod  those of " US" that are not to tightly wrapped  can see the humour in almost anything every day of the year ??? "but" I sometime worry that there are some very serious people out there who don't understand what a bit of humour is all about ??? and see a laugh as a waist of time and recon that me, you, us and Springy "Zebedee" Onion are seriously lacking it "Political Correctness" and a bit light headed ??? I have one old school friend who has not laughed since 1959 when he got the sack from being a "Milk Monitor" :o :lolno: Delicate subject "humour handle with care"
:x
