Hello all.
May be this caller is the front runner if you want to step up the quality a bit. The GameTraks "Ultimate" Wireless Game Call is just what you need to take your hunting abilities to the next level. Include Multiple Speaker Control, which controls up to six different speakers independently from one handheld unit, up to a half-mile of wireless speaker range, nightvision buttons and display, fully programmable and storable sound sets and sequences, and remote battery monitoring. Know a keen predator shooter who had been out with a outfitter in Montana who made jokes about the 800 yard plus range on the remote. Thanks Phil

 The Western Rivers PURSUIT offers the most value for your dollar of ANY other caller on the market. It features intensified volume, 300 high quality ORION Sounds, ergonomic designed LCD remote control, and dual speaker design. At only 1.75lbs. with batteries, this unit offers maximum versatility with intensified volume and superior sound performance. The PURSUIT includes an external speaker jack on the side of the unit to add even more volume (All speakers will play at same time if selected). Our ergonomically designed LCD remote control allows you to power the unit on/off, power remote decoy on/off, select-a-speaker feature, play & pause the caller, select/scan sounds, control the volume level up & down, mute, or pause the sound. LCD display on remote shows you the title of the sound you are playing, the location of sound file in the sound library, displays the volume level you are operating, shows increases in volume levels, speaker selection, decoy in on/off position and battery indicator level. " The second-hand value on these Pursuit model Western Rivers callers in the US are as cheap as it could possibly get, the plastic moulded body is a better shape and quality than the Foxpro and although I have only had this caller for a few weeks I would give it the thumps up on all points so far and the remote will out run the FoxPro Spitfire remote by several dozen yards, I have two Wildfires with different calls and a Spitfire with mainly crow, magpie and jay and I would put the Pursuit as good as etc. and may be has the edge over being more user friendly. Just my two pence worth. Thanks all Phil

So far so good, the second set I made with the call I had a Huge Bobcat come screaming in within 5 minutes. I couldn't get over how loud it is I've been using it on about half to quarter volume and that is plenty loud. Started out using DG alkaline batteries and it has lasted over a week on and off use. It automatically repeats the sound until you pause it or change to another call. the multi function remote has a full back light which makes it really nice to read day or night. I hunt in a pop up blind so don't use it in direct sunlight much. I have tested it out to about 250 yards and it responds like it was in my pocket. If I didn't have my WR Predation pointing at me at that distance I couldn't hear it, not this you have to still turn it down. Putting new calls on it is a synch, plug it into your computer and move the calls over, I stored there included sound and put my own mp3s calls on it. It came with 200 and when I changed the call I noticed the memory was only a quarter full I don't know why you couldn't hold more but I rarely use more than 2-5 calls at all on my hunts. Yesterday I called in a crow, three snowmobiles and a gray fox or small coyote, only seen movement and the tracks weren't that big. Been using mostly the rodent in distress and Rabbit calls. I'm really happy so far and never had the privilege of using an 800 dollar one but I honestly don't see what more you need. I purchased this for 137.00 on E-bay. The only thing that worries me is the exposed connection ports, if you have nowhere to hang the caller snow will get in them and I see a lot of the brands are made that way. I'm going to find a protective soft case to put the caller in, which they recommend in the instructions. I'd give this 5 stars so far!!! My next purchase is going to be a decoy and am considering the (Western Rivers Deceptor Rabbit Electronic Predator Decoy) anyone have reviews on this and is it remotely operated?
