I am with Virgin and I seldom have any connection problem. I believe that 3G specifications can be different for different countries, so are phones from abroad. Someone may correct me on this.

Cheers Franco, trouble is coming out of the software and logging back in puts me at the back of the queue again. I've asked them to sort me one of their dedicated pods now which will cost a fiver a week extra. If that don't sort it I might be shifting firms.

Dave, not out of the software you normally use but the wifi itself. Don't know if that will put you at the back of the queueueueueueue (a long queue) :mrgreen:

strange my first post on a nightvision forum is about the mobile signal

i work for one of the emergency services who have just moved from EE to vodaphone and have found that even in towns (Oxford and Reading) signal is terrible.

i carry an O2 phone and have no issues anywhere in Berkshire and Oxfordshire (except my favorite pub)
