A similar thing has happened to me a few times, but it was down to another post being submitted whilst I was typing mine.
You hit the submit button and think it's all done but infact the screen does ask if you still want to post because someone else has replied since you last read the thread, you have to submit a second time.
If you don't see the prompt it does knacker the job up.

Auto Save Replay should be possible with the board running of phpBB.. I'm sure if this kind of thing happens when you go to re-type it will already be stored so its just a matter of clicking Submit again without the hassle of Re-typing..

That's what I was trying to say but not in such big computery words but on reading what I'd actually written I can see that it may be interpreted differently and suggesting you have to retype.

We have 'Drafts' in the pm section, but not in the posting section, for some reason.

It's obviously something we need to look into (not something that either Geoff nor I are able to do, unfortunately).

It's also feasible to cut and copy your long post, before you push the button, just in case.

RATS working and business career

FINALLY
On december 13th i had to leave my marital home at 11am so it could be sold in my devorce settlement but i had to leave most of my posessions there until i could find storage,,,,,,,,,,,,By 1pm that afternoon rat was at my house taking ALL my lifelong posession on agreeng to give my ex wife in apparantly his words to give her a good drink and being the lovely woman she is she agreed {thank god i got shut of her} anyway a week later a mate calls me and in his words told me panicky was selling my stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and this lad had got some {fair play the lad gave me the stuff he got off rat back to me}..........On hearing this i phone Rat and asked him about this,,,,,,,and said the lad was lying to which i said can i come round with this lad and see whos lying,,,,,,,,in responce he told me the lad was lying again and if we came he would call the police......By now i was fuming so i picked up a crow bar and lump hammer to get in his shed to retrieve the gear Rat had stolen ,,,,, The rest will sound ridiculous but true,,,,,,,,,,,,,on arrival Rat opened the door and told me he had just remembered he had got some of my stuff but he had forgot he had it

At and in any case he was looking after it for me ..........WHAT can you beleive that ????????????????? Rat then scurries into his house and returns with 4 off large hunting rucksacks brimming with my stuff !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then he,s on the phone to the police saying i was threatening him and upsetting his daughter,,,,,,,,,,TRUE at last Rat had made a true statement i was F&*king FUMING.....i then left his house before they came as i would have got locked up.

I got in touch with the Police about him but the could not do anything as he had an arrangement with ex and it was for the cival courts
So any of you guys that has bought anything off the Rat since December theres a Very Very good possiblity it once belonged to me

At the moment i've been told he's leaching a guy called Anthony who's a Whizz kid with electronic Rats telling people that Anthonys going to be the goose that laid the golden egg If any of you guy no this guy just tell him to watch his back with this creature

1 he's told people he took my belongings to look after bthem for me...........YES PETER very belieable

3 I OWED HIM MONEY if the truth was known he's had a small fortune off me
