NVUK?

Re: NVUK?
Hi Rod
It is one of mine the unit doesn't perform how the video seems to have been viewed. On screen is perfect or as good as if we can claim that sort of performance. I posted it for others to see and compare the night time footage over the same piece of ground. In all honesty I can't see what David has or yourself and I've even asked others to let me know. There's no problem with the unit orbits performance the guy who owns it just couldn't put the footage up himself to be identified for his own reasons. Thank you for your feedback though it's greatly appreciated as always.
Kind Regards Pete

Re: NVUK?
Well all I can say to settle this is it seems the facebook members other than Pete who have contributed to the thread somehow could not see what at least four people I know can see.
My latter comments were about the fact other people indicate they could not see the jumping and I can't help but wonder why that is.

Re: NVUK?
Again .. So you asked here where it's not posted and didn't believe what others said ... I know at least three now that say when watching it they saw some hesitation for want of a better word and most in that thread couldn't.. it's no mystery or cover up or conspiracy if it was the video would have been deleted lol and the night time with smog and mist wouldn't have gone up but it did.. Anyway I think it was wrong to bring it here and a waste of this forum's space to be fair but hey ho
it's your privelidge

Re: NVUK?
I didn't argue the point in your group out of courtesy Pete, in fact I seem to recall saying I didn't want to be rude when I pointed it out. It was meant in good faith, that you might deal with it before making the night video. I can't help that the issue was mostly met with denial on open group and if grown adults can't see the jumping as the spotter is swung around they must have bad kit, bad eyesight, or possibly some other reason.
I needn't have told you about my computer issue - in fact I consciously blamed it to disarm the thread for you rather than draw more attention to it over there by emphasising what I could clearly see. There was also no point dwelling on it over there in case you remove that too.
There's a bit of history simmering underneath this - you are not able to remove whats being said over here like you have done to me over there:
Would you deny the T50 shroud sale thread in your group where several members asked me to make 67mm shrouds got removed? I lost reference regarding who had asked after spending my money getting them made. It's not much money - but there was no need for it to be removed because they don't conflict with anything your group sells - and several members had participated in the thread. Yea - good move dumping an interesting well mannered NV related thread.
Would you deny you removed a subsequent thread started not by me - but a group member asking about them when I didn't stand for you queering the fact light reflects from sound mods into scopes? Or that you offered to draw me a picture of how light travels in straight lines and my science was flawed?
I went with the shroud sale thread in your group knowing they did not conflict with anything your group sells. I rarely post routine spotter or add on sales posts in your group these days to avoid competition, particularly since you raised your game with those flashy new spotters.
I also remember how, when someone asked why their zero moves when fitting their add on, you rubbished my point that budget scope ocular lenses can have the thickest part slightly off centre which would affect zero when rotated. It's not a good idea to rotate ocular lenses when fitting a rig to a scope but I guess it didn't go down too well for someone who might find it convenient to rubbish that fact.
Can I suggest it might be best if I don't argue with you over there and you don't do it over here?

Re: NVUK?
Ooh - I seem to have been removed from his group.
I guess that means he won't be buying any more C mount adaptors from me then. He's already told me he's sent one of mine to someone to make something similar.

Re: NVUK?
Once more money money money its all you seem interested in your showing bad face here especially with regards the mount I can screen shot all our messages if you wish and post them here that quite clearly when I asked a while ago when you were out ifcstock of parts and looked like you weren't able to get stock.. indeed even the other other day you said you thought you were being had over by your supplier I said I'd let you know if the part could be copied in aluminium and let you have the supplier details .. shall I post screen shots of your thumbs up acceptance afterall you also sent a message a while ago when I first suggested trying to find an online manufacturer I could do as I wish but all the ones you'd found were three times more expensive than you wanted to pay. Please do not try and be derogeratory about either myself or how I choose to admin my group. Infact maybe I should state here quite categorically that I will send any admin here a screen shot to probe this but I've mentioned to you before our group is about helping members with builds and in your own words you state quite clearly you can't do that as you don't either use the same parts as other builders or you only have knowledge on photon .. jeepers you can't help a guy with wiring a battery box , you can't offer advice about chargers etc.. your words not mine but then the down right cheek of it you say that you were exploiting group members for sales. Now that's not gonna happen anymore and I'm really surprised that is all you thought of the group .. a place where you could exploit it's members!!! It was a good enough group when you offered to buy into NVUK to sell your spotters and myself and Eddie stop making ours wasn't it ? Even then I said there was no need all you had to do was post to rule..
Now you can call me all you wish chastise me for removing you but with an attitude that people are there not to be helped but for you to use for your gain is totally wrong.
I apologise to admin here for having to respond in this manner and if you feel I should be removed from this group I accept that too but maybe people that read this and see your main motive throughout is momentary.
You'll not exploit another member in our group wether your products are fabulous or not they arent your constantly mentioned pension fund top up.
I respected you with your knowledge, history and ability within the nv world, ive even had the pleasure of you inviting me to visit your home and shoot with you but that respect is now gone .. not that it will mean a thing to you I'm sure.
Kind Regards Pete

Pete I honestly think Dave was trying to help when he pointed out the juddering effect,I even went and took a look and sorry but he was right so I sent you a pm.
As for no other comments on your page I think perhaps people don't like to offend is the answer to that one.
Your Facebook group and this forum are really two totally different formats as you are well aware of and we've gone this far without clashing,so let's just call it a blip shall we and get on with it
Geoff

Re: NVUK?
Time to finish this off I think too. I'll make some confessions before winding up.
He's right about the adaptors: I'll openly agree to accepting I can't stop him making them: Given he indicated he'd only be using them himself and not be selling them I rolled with it.
I'll not deny using the exploited word - in the clumsily worded context of knowing the shrouds were not in conflict with group items so said I exploited that fact and posted it as an ongoing thread in the way I usually do on here and some other forums. Pete had made a general reference some time ago about not allowing on going sale posts or words to that effect - which I assumed was a shot across my spotter bows as he'd started doing spotters about that time. I've since posted up a couple of specials after asking and getting his permission each time to do so.
He's correct about me offering to get on board in some way if the price was right - but an offer never came. At the time Pete and Eddy weren't selling spotters - and I wasn't making add-on's: It seemed worth having a chat about the potential.
I admit I wasn't happy about feeling I'd been ganged up on about the denials. I was experience enough to observe there was a video problem and hoped someone else saw it too. When denials continued I asked on here and yes - subsequently felt a bit peeved about continued denials.
Adam and Geoff, you are both very tactful and its one of the reasons this forum works as well as it does.
Pete and I took it to facebook messaging where we were both able to call a spade a shovel - and both of us did just that.
