Night vision meet darn sarf 2012
Re: Night vision meet darn sarf 2012
Got the misus bike back yesterday. Its been in the bike shop about 4 flippin months.... grrrrrr.
And the speedo still doesn't work............ bigger Grrrr.
Well as it looks like the NV meet isn't likely to happen this year we might as well stay off topic..... Wot you riding then. I?ve been playing with bike for years now and finally settled on a GS1200. Had it for 5 years now and don't see any reason to change it. It's taken me all over Europe.

My bike is still at the end of my kitchen, where it's sat for at least 5 years
Thought I'd build a garage this year... to put the bike and other 'useful' items from the house in so I had room to decorate, which means re-plastering etc. PP through in May, then the neighbours said "we want to extend too" which would've made my build a lot easier when they knocked their wall down.
Have they done anything? Have they potatoes!!!
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Sure is... even in the eye of a non-believer! An appreciating asset too!! Well it would be more so if I got it running again but I think my licence and therefore my SGC/FAC might be at risk... the exhaust note is to die for and the engine spread is just like a big, very big, rubber band. 90pers in first! Stopped riding it when I bought a 4x4 for off road stuff out shooting n couldn't afford to run 2 cars and a bike.
How to go faster? - change from the cheapie n nasty yellow foam EAR plugs to something better (Orange Howard Leights still about?) Adds 10mph to your average speed.

Ah a true girly bike
. My missus has a TR1, grandaddy to your Virago. It's been rebuilt 3 times now. Looks right tasty. I took it up to Camarthen last year. It still chugs along nicely despite being 32 years old.

To be honest I haven't bothered as no one else seems interested. Witness the conversation went over to motorbikes. I have all the nv I need just organising for everybody else to have a look but everybody is washing their hair. Lol
