What we all need is a bit more "Culture" 
Anyone have any views on a separate section for topics like Culture or World events or maybe some Politics or some light discussions on Religious issues etc. I think it would be worth a lot of HOUSE MARKS and maybe a GOLD STAR as well to raise our intellectual standing a bit.
my reasons >>>>Met a very posh woman on line the other night and I had a vague idea that I knew who she was just buy her location and the details in the messages that she was sending back in response to the general keyboard chit chat between ourselves. I was at a bit of a disadvantage as her very posh comments about the important things in her life that were difficult to swallow without wanting to give her a few pointers that she should be a bit better grounded in her outlook etc. Was not sure if this lady was stalking the internet looking for bit of rough or just playing about with her one-up-man-ship views and slanted opinions that she thought that it was important to be SPECIAL.
After about an hour and twenty minutes of keyboard chit chat and making the decision that this encounter is not going to lead to a wrestling match somewhere off a fairly local bridle path I thought that enough was truly more than enough that a mere mortal could be patient with, I think that she could sense that the keyboard enthusiasm was on the wain when she asked if I was going to read a book before going to bed "to which I replied that I had a hard choice to make as I had just been given a copy of Maximum Darkness----- Man on the Road to Nowhere by Deke Leonard or continue reading my favourite type of book which right now is "The Tales of the Mabinogion" well that last comment really amused the good lady her last bit of typing asked did I like star gazing and is the Mabinogion somewhere where they make a rather nice wine in the south of France. 
p.s. maybe the humour will be slow to translate unless you know a certain Welsh rock band and some very old Welsh folk law.

I did meet another interesting woman at a funeral about seven months ago as well and that was a whole barrel of laughs, asked her the following week if she wanted come out for bit of a spin in the countryside to get some wood. I turned up at her house at the allotted time in a battered long wheelbase land rover pick-up with a triple axle flat trailer on the back. I stopped by her front gate and leaned over to open the passenger door for her when she calmly gave me a mouthful "that I wasn't to tightly wrapped 
and maybe she should leave the countryside spin until I had a better choice of vehicle that was to her liking" 
Thought arkansas and alabama were the only places people picked up relatives at funerals. 
will also have to look for a thread that I put up on a U S forum "where I advertised that I wanted a capable woman who owned a good fishing boat with a big reliable outboard motor and who must also have a good range of domestic skills and the ability to clean and gut large quantities of fish" Had replies from all corners of the globe, one woman from Alaska asked me if she could get here with her boat, I emailed her back an told her it would have to be a bloody good boat,
