as Rod said..........don't use the link
same with any emails from banks etc........always go to their own site and log in as normal
some of these do look real but could land you in a load of trouble

I got one from Apple, telling me my account is suspended, couple of days earlier I changed the pass word, I thought I did some thing wrong. Didn't suspect any thing. ( I lecture people on these scam )Clicked on the link and I was asked about my passport number and drivers licence number. I thought hey this is not Apple as I never used cards as a payment option.
Went to real apple site, my account wasn't suspended. Another scam.

Yes i checked my paypal account just in case it was real but everything is fine with it , the thing is the original e mail looked a lot more convincing than the way it came out when i cut and pasted it onto here so i can understand how some people get fooled by these feckers

Re: Paypal scam e mail
I had the same email, then another one reminding me that i hadnt fixed the issue...
When i had the original email i clicked the link just to see what happens. It forwarded me to a fake paypal login page where the only icons you could click on was your login details, everything else was just a picture. I was tempted to submit false details just to waste their time, but i thought better of it, you never know what these dirty internet wizards can do... Also the odd spelling mistake, and combined with the fact the email showed up as from myself gave it away. The swines. X
