Lucky you out there. I'm actually from the south of Perth, west oz. Been here for 11 years now so some would say I'm a POM!
Haven't looked at the pulsar dfa75 to be honest. There are so many options out there. I did like the idea of front mounted NV but have been told to steer clear as it apparently is a nightmare to zero each time, especially if you are swapping it on rifles often. How do you find it?

I find the Pulsar Forward really easy to use. The important thing is to fit the mount correctly to the riflescope. The Forward has a zero check, which I find pretty easy. My mate has a laser sight mounted to the barrel, and when he puts his Forward off and on, he can see that it is still aligns with the crosshair. He uses his to shoot pigs at 300 metres with a 7mm Mag. He showed me how to set it up, which I guess saved me a lot of hassle. He also uses his on a .223. He writes the calibration settings down and dials them in when changing from one to the other. I have only used mine on my .308.

I made the mistake of buying a NiteSite Wolf. Bloody useless for big game hunting on a centrefire. Really awkward to hold, very difficult to aim, but it also lit my face up like a Christmas tree. Turned it on, and everything was spooked off. My mate warned me not to buy the NiteSite, but some silver tongued sales person convinced me that it was the best thing since sliced bread. I managed to get about half of the value of the NiteSite back when I sold it to some other poor sod.

Anyway, I'm going to get a thermal sight one day. Anyone got any ideas? I hear that Pulsar are bringing one out soon, though not sure how much they will cost. I had a look at the GSCI thermal riflescopes, but a tad pricey.
