I upgraded to this caller and the second time of using the remote froze 4 times in 15 minutes,red backlight on caller does not work.what I can see about these FoxPro callers is they are a heap of shit.dont know if anyone else has had issues but this is the second one I had the spitfire first and that was junk as well.

I have a spitfire and it works well. If it is new then I would return it to the seller. The foxpro is well used by many people and seems well proven and I haven't heard any complaints against them from anybody so it would be interesting to see if any others have had similar issues.

I upgraded from the spitfire because it wouldn't go 20 yards.

You're not anywhere near power cables / pylons are you. They can do funny things to remotes.

I've had both the Fury GXT and the Scorpion X1B for years and never had one bit of bother with them. Superb kit, in my opinion.

no cables of any kind.they changed 2 for me and then suggested I upgrade to a fury which is what I did.

This may sound daft but get someone else to try it I'm known for making electronic items malfunction, I can kill phone reception in a second In all seriousness I can get no reception, give the phone to someone standing next to me and it works fine, I take it back and it loses signal Same with car remote's and tele remote, they work eventually but only at close range .

On the upside I used to be able to hold electric fences no problem, wouldn't bother me at all, just grab it and lift it up for folk (haven't tried for the last few months). And I've lost count of the times I've touched mains electric and three phase buzz bars. Same with spark plugs, just shove my finger up the plug cap to test it

So, it may be you, not the gubbins If it is, welcome to my world You can have a real laugh, like hold an arc welder then touch someone on the back of the neck They think that's really funny (Can you run fast ?)

That counts that out then. At least you know you're not Electroman.

It's unlikely there's going to be the same problem with two of them, especially different models. There has to be something somewhere causing it I would think.
