New Member from South Oxfordshire

Hi Everyone,
I come here from another forum, with a interest in Hunting.
I have a good friend on here who is showing me the ropes and sharing his perms, so a massive thanks to you Gordon.
I started with no experience of Air guns, and now have a S200 multishot, with a mattw silencer, Hawke HD 3-9 50 Mil Dot IR Scope.
12 Ltr Bottle, and one of Terry's modified 501Torches.
Ive "lurked" for a couple of months debaiting on whether to build, or buy, and then got completely confused in the process!
Meanwhile Ive "had a go" with a Photon, and learned an awfull amount about my set up, and can now bag a bunch of Rats when we go out.
Im steering towards a Photon, as my scope doesn,t ( I think) have a parallax adjustment, and adding a scope to the cost of the Nv Components adds up to the photon price.
Any one know of a refill outlet, other than the Oxford Dive Centre, I gather its rather expensive to refill there?
Also I would welcome any contact with other local members with a veiw to pooling ideas and thoughts.
Thanks in anticipation,
Andy

Hey!
Welcome to the forum, Andy!

It looks like you may know more than I do but if I can help with simple setup, give me a shout.

How much do they charge to fill a bottle and how many shots do you get out of it? I can't see them being that bad. It is a few years since I got a fill off them and I think it was a fiver for a 15 litre bottle. If you really don't want to pay you can buy your own compressor, there are cheap ones out there that fill the bottle very very slowly or get a foot pump.

Have you got a link to these cheap compressors?

Can't remember the name of the company who did the compressors. They were at the dive show a number of years ago. Think the cheapest was about £400.
