Hello from up north

Post by Superwolf » 01 Apr 2014, 11:35

Hi Guys just a quick hello an intro
I have basically no experience with NV gear but am about to invest and have been researching for the past year or so. I live in the north of Scotland and do a lot of fox and vermin control.
I already have a pulsar HD38s and use it to shoot foxes in combo with a scope mounted Nightmaster 800 with white LED.
A big issue for me is I'm a one rifle man! In other words I like to use my .308 Tikka T3 super varmint for everything and have no plans to buy anything smaller. ( I also have a Ruger 10/22 for rabbits).
What I'm looking for is a digi NV ad-on that can handle the recoil of a 308 reliably and still have performance enough to shoot a fox out to 200 yards??
This may be a big ask from the current digi ad ons.??
It seems the more I read the more contrasting people's experiences are with these ad ons.
Which is actually making it more and more differcult to choose
Had high hopes for the Starlight Arrow but have read nothing but bad comments! Doh!
Back to the drawing board!
