Dunno what your point is Punky? If there are other issues going on here then PM me about them please.

You are comparing a standard 5 mag image to a zoomed in 7 ish mag image.

The OP has indicated he doesn't want to splash unnecessary cash, and there is no need to spend an extra £130 odd quid on a doubler to shoot 60 yards or so that restricts short range field of view and quarry acquisition before he even tries it out. The Photon has oodles of light sensitivity that will get more than it needs from a compact illuminator that costs less than the T20 too. Your suggestion will cost him substantially more.
