welcome aboard Rob,

nowt wrong with gen1 mate, we all started somewhere,...................but..............there's lots of diy builds on here that will out perform it for a lot less money

have a read in the DIY section, plenty of good advice, and if you get stuck or need a bit of info, just shout..........some one will be along to help ;)

be warned though.................you will become addicted :D

cheers jock

Hello Rob and welcome along.

No shame in having a GEN1 unit mate. Lots of fellas out there using them to good effect and I'm pretty sure we've all owned one at some point.

Hi Rob, welcome to the forum
I also use a GEN 1+ nomocular, as I use an air rifle and sit down, I find the GEN 1+ useful to spot for up to 60 yards. It saves me using the screen from my NV setup on the scope, this way there is no light bouncing in my face and give my position away to the quarry... Well, until I am ready to shoot that is. I am considering making another digital setup with a near eye display to replace the GEN 1+
...the doctor said that I need to do gentle exercise... I said to him that I already did... trigger squeezing!
