I just purchased a used Bosch Aegis ir illuminator.
It is the 10° model. The model with the furthest throw. I believe it gives off a red glow like the lightforce ir lens cover. I am not doing anything illegal so the red glow is not a major problem. The extra distance is worth putting up with the red glow.
My Lightforce SL170 ir lens cover may be coming up for sale, if this Bosch unit does the business.
