Fantastic weekend.

Well I really enjoyed it. didn't manage to get much at all but Friday was sat in a field surrounded by buttercups, managed 1 rabbit and 1 pigeon but lovely to be out.
Sunday 5 rabbits only. There just so few on the land and the grass is so tall it is hard to get a clear shot. but it was great just to have the walk about for a few hours and not be stuck in the house. The farmer is happy but I could do with a few more sticking their heads up high enough. And the shots I had? All 100 yard head shot. Even managed a 147 yard headshot. I like my HMR. I like my hobby and I like getting out and round the fields.

Even managed to service the .22 and get it on lower mounts. Need to get some close bunnies to play with that.

It was just such a cracking weekend that it makes the drivel we have to put up with during the week seem distant. Oh and the bees have gone nuts, so I will be having some honey this year. 2 supers filled just ready to be capped. couldn't believe how much they had collected in a week.

What a nice weekend. Even if it rains this weekend I will still be smiling about the last one.

I must be getting old.

Enjoyed my weekend too.

Repairing feeders on Saturday in readiness for the birds arrival and finally managed to get a couple of the rifles sighted-in after changing all of the scopes around.

.204 and .243 are ready to go. .223 sorted and now just the two rimmies to do. Very satisfying.

went out with Rick monday evening, shot 2 feral pigeons and 3 Rabbits couldnt find 2 of the rabbits as the nettles are so high, we went on one of the new lands we got its not a bad little shoot to be fair lots of bunnys and ferals on it only saw one rat. we asked the farmer what we could shoot ? he said shoot what we want so long as its not his racing pigeons lol , all in all a good evening i enjoyed just being out to be honest. yeasturday i sorted my NV draw out as its bursting so there will be at least 1 camera and a laser for sale on here soon after ive gone through it all.. john

I picked up a swarm of bees tonight, got stung by one of the little blighters as well. Alergic reaction not so good. I may have to give up the bees this year.
Oh well, but after I get the honey off them this year.
