Cheap 'n cheerful scope adapters

Post by Norfolkandgood » 16 Dec 2013, 23:00

I recently posted this on another board but seeing as the topic of those 'iscope' adapters appeared on here not too long back thought you might be interested to see it.

All made with suitable diameter & length waste/plumbing fittings with an attached hardcase for the phone.
Average cost per pipe fitting £2, phone cases 2 for £2.50. (Plus some black electrical tape I had knocking about)

And a quick shot fitted to spare back-up scope.

Image is much better through the Nikko & Falcon scopes as shown here with this squizzer @ 45yrds who shortly after met his maker

PVS fitting - mono eyecup needs removing to fit it (this one had to have a slight cut-out to clear the back of the battery compartment)

Quick shot through the PVS - nothing too exciting, just the blockwork in the garage (its peeing down so I'm not going to a permission for a pic now!)

Considerably cheaper than the iscope thingy & work fine for me

(Apologies mods/admin if the pics are too big, couldn't get the links to work otherwise  )

Nice one mate. It's good to see guys making their own rather than paying the extortionate prices for the iScope, it's ridiculous!
