Beware fasttech

Post by some bloke » 20 Nov 2013, 05:48

I'm only mildly concerned at the moment but neither of four orders dating back to 5th nov have arrived yet. after getting no response to an email querying this - and pointing out that their tracking doesn't work I'm wondering if a Manufont type event may be occurring.

This is on one of the pages you go to to check order status:

"We are experiencing a temporary spike in support requests. Our response may be slightly delayed at the moment.
Please be assured that we are working on your requests as quickly as we can. Thank you for your patience and understanding."

They took 5 days to respond to my ticket, refunded within half an hour of replying they were looking into it. I've one more flashlight order with them, will see what happens.

I've got 3 orders outstanding with Fastech, one posted 25/10 not yet delivered and 2 from earlier this month sent by Singapore Post but both showing as posted today. I have emailed them re the first order and am waiting for a response. Not impressed.

I got a delivery that was ordered 14/11 today, two earlier orders with more critically needed 3 memory mode drivers in are outstanding - ordered at least a week earlier. That build up of packages waiting to be scanned seems to have caused a lot of trouble for them and their buyers.

Comforting to know they have not wound up at least.

They told me that the delay was due to scanning holdups with Singapore post but I suspect that once you have ordered from fasttech they then order in from China and then ship out via Singapore. Hence the delay. Can't prove it of course. ;)

Ordered 25th, received 10th. They are getting better. There was a 5 day delay for one out of stock item and I canceled another.
