Im not sure if that option is available to a normal selling account?
It might only be for ebay account that are registered as a business?
But iv seen some sellers using this option, probably for that reason.

By the time I'd got the third reply - his ignoring my request to use email had me feeling certain he was up to no good from the very outset, joining ebay with a new account etc just to do some damage. Chances are the bloke is indeed a shooting forum member (or maybe a banned one) who makes or converts torches who wants to discredit me - or 501b torches, or maybe a boy friend of one .

I needed to know if the EJ230 was going to be used for scopeless or add-on, and what lens he thinks he's got because a lot of people buy a DX one thinking it is the same as an Ahorton one. The end result would be a potential focal miss-match that he would be displeased with, and rubbish me about.

The ebay sale notification subsequently confirmed my suspicions, how would any seller feel comfortable about an email address starting with > blackopstwat@G... <

So Steven Smith, if that is your real name - I smelt your shitty intentions from the outset and it proved to be right.

That's crossed my mind mate.

Huh - he's still being a total bumhole, I couldn't get into my email server this morning and after going through the reset password procedure I got an advice from BT that this addy> dionnetchristophe1000@gma... < had been added to my account - and had been made the default one ... how can anyone do that?

Although I have been able to reset my own addy as the default - I cannot delete the new addition

Seems it's on a spammers database:

Dave, there's got to be someone on here who can track him down through ip address or something. May be wise though to not broadcast the fact when you do start to track him down

I'm not interested in tracking the bloke TBH - thanks. I'm 62 years old next month with two lung issues, a dodgy hip and a gammy foot - so wouldn't be able to thank him in the manner his actions deserve.

I can understand that Dave, you reach a time in life where you just don't want hassle. Be good to track down who it is and make it public it though
