Post by mozmax » 10 Apr 2013, 08:25

just wanted to say hello to everyone, bit of an amateur nv person personally with just a 2.2 air rifle that me and my friend have, love delving around with nv stuff thoe, lol finding it hard at the moment with the cash flow so have to make do with what i have and at the moment that consists of 1 broken pair of yukon nv goggles, only 1 tube lights up but think that might be nackered because it has a white dot in the middle of the green screen?. zennith nv monocular, took to bits lol, also i have a ccd ccir camera named cohu, and zoom and focuz electric lense, few other bits, anyway i wanted to try make a nv sight out of it if i can.
so just saying hello from sunny salford...ps if my post is stupid i apologise in advance, proper newby there but love the site

first off guys wanted to know if i can get this nv tube fixed, its out of a yukon tracker dl 25021, i bought it of fleabay broke the person said it wont switch on, anyway when i took it apart i notice on 1 of the tubes that the colour film had gone of the glass like it had burnt off or something, the other tube was ok thoe so when i rigged it up to power it come on but flickered and theres a white dot in the middle of the screen, when its hooked upto optics the white dot spoils the view, anyone know what i can do to fix it or is it nackered?. any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks again mozmax
