Hi there toytown & welcome to the forum , I can vouch for the sunny d light they are a awesome ir illuminator I don't think you can go wrong with one , they are ideal for air riffles / rim fire & 17 hmr .

here is my setup on my .22lr


and this is the illuminator i use when its on the air rifle for rats, its good for 20 yards in and around barns etc but not much good on open ground. it is from an old cctv camera
