Introduction

Post by bobc » 14 Mar 2013, 17:22

Hi
I've been browsing the forum for a little while now after deciding to research which nv unit was best for me to purchase.
After reading through the forum and being that I am a habitual tinkerer and mender/maker of things I have decided to have a try at the homemade route
A big thanks to all you guys for posting so much info on your builds with links for parts etc
I now have a small pile of cctv kit, torch parts etc speeding its way to me from all around the globe so no doubt soon I will be pestering some of you for some advice! I think I'm going to need it, I havent even started putting the bits together yet and I've already realised some of the kit Ive ordered isnt what I need!
regards
Bob

yep thats how it goes...then you find a better part while your waiting for the original bit to turn up. so you order that one.....THEN you change the design in your head and need yet another part

its how bits box's are born lmao

oh, could you add your location to yor profile please

Hello Bob, and welcome.

As Adam says, you're often on to plan B by the time the parts for plan A arrive from China :(

Hi George

I've definately had a bit of changing plans, I'm working away from home and my workshop at the moment and have been relieving the boredom of the evenings by ebaying for bits that might just come in handy. Mean while the Mrs is at home getting bombarded with strange packages!
