SNOW

Post by 22-250jock » 12 Mar 2013, 07:56

after struggling for an hour to get home last night from work, a journey which usually only takes me 15 mins, i wake up this morning to the news that cars have been stuck on the A23/M23 for 10 t0 12 hours last night, (poor buggers)
the waeather was forcast but still the council wern't out early enough to get the grit on the road before it got too bad,

we have around 6''-7'', which is unusual for down here

having moved down south 25 yrs ago from the north, it still amazes me how they are unable to cope with a little bit of snow down here, honestly, you get half an inch and everything comes to a stand still, panic buying in all the shops, no milk or bread left on the shelves, all the schools get closed

still, the up side is, i've just had a call from the boss saying not to bother trying to get in today

now all ive got to do is clear a path to the shed. lol.

There was snow? Nope, never get any over here. What is the point of having a 4x4 and no snow?
