Introduction

Post by Warren569 » 02 Mar 2021, 08:34

Hello to everyone,

Thanks Geoff for sorting out my activation so I could join this forum. Was able to take a looksee last night and was pretty amazed at the in depth info on this NV stuff, was a whole new world. I am on here to learn more about NV, as would like to use it for night-time hunting and also wildlife spotting when I am out walking the dog over the fields in darkness.

Other than general interest in NV, I am interested in the lower end of the market for a decent IR set-up that works well to spot vermin up to 200 yards and hunt at air rifle ranges, though other types of rifle might be used in the future. As with anything hunting related, there is a massive amount of choice and opinions, with really impressive ready made solutions, but the home built stuff on here is at a whole new level.

Look forwards to engaging more in future.

All the best,
Warren
