Hi all,
I’ve been on AGF for quite a while but just dipping my toes into NV hunting (air). Set up with a PARD 008 LRF but starting to explore the idea of adding a thermal spotter.
Hoping to get advice, and hopefully a bargain entry level rig from someone upgrading.
Cheers
Raggie
Hello
Re: Hello
Hi m8
And a very warm welcome
I’d thought I’d give you a bit of a heads up as I use both a thermal spotter and scope on my rifle and have been doing now for some years
I use the pulsar xp50 as a spotter and the trail as the scope with devastating results I know people say it’s a tad expensive but it’s a fantastic piece of kit as I used to believe in ditgital but moved onto thermal and wat a complete game changer if it’s above ground you will see it even bats and the odd door mouse in daylight not seen buy the human eye but picked up buy the spotter
Hope this give a little insight as it can be quite overwhelming of wat to purchase
All the best
Dave

Re: Hello
hi and welcome to the forum.
I looked through an Axion XM30s last night and was seriously impressed at 200 yard rabbit spotting. Also a Hare at about the same distance clearly showed more heat at its head and haunches.
I imagine those with deep pockets might be up for part funding something even better - albeit just because they can rather than needing to, we all like new toys if they are within our pocket money range.
