Hello from Devon!

I have joined the forum because I am interested in developing my night-time shooting skills and I am sure there will be a lot of information and advice here.

On about 300 acres of dairy farm, I am tasked with rabbit/vermin control and the occasional fox if it's proving to be a nuisance. My night vision kit is an ATN 4K with ABL and I use a three power setting 850nm IR torch which works well with the ATN out to 200m and beyond on full power, however I rarely shoot at further than 120m with NV.

One question I have that I hope I can find the answer too is whether I should upgrade my IR Torch for an IR Laser and what one I should go for. I have noticed that one fox I'm after (I'm sure its the same one) has become very aware of the torch and will take immediate evading action if it sees it. I've looked at my torch from the foxes eye view and there is a definite red warning light that even I would avoid and I suspect he can see a conical beam, so I'm sure a switch to a laser will work better, I just need to find the right one.
