That for sure beats Pedalling.
I have lived all my married life in houses that have been either remote by them selves or one was in a little hamlet that had 6 houses within a mile radius. The last one mentioned, I walked with my gun straight out the drive across the road and into a field and started shooting rabbits. Most shot in one night was 260. Could have done the same amount for the next few nights, there was that many. I sold them all to the Game dealer.

Gosh! No seriously big gosh. I would get told off for swearing.
I walk 2.1/2 hours and come away with six flipping rabbits. AND I have a 70 mile round trip.
But it keeps me out of the pub. Would like to move somewhere more rural but she who must be obeyed had other plans, and as she is very understanding to my hobbies, I'm out all day tomorrow after Bambi, I can't complain.
Sounds like your in a nice locality. Biggest problem I always had with people up there was under standing them and trying to stand upright after they got me on the whisky, yech, horrid stuff. Lol

Goog Luck in the morning. Hope you have a successful stalk.
I hardly touch alcohol. I met the wife in a pub 23 years ago. I daren't go back to another.
I have the best wife anyone could ask for. Never complains and never says you cant have it (if we can afford it that is). She sure has had a calming effect on this bad boy over the last 23 years.
