Mate, if you want a double bit look at old seager chemicals heads (puget sound pattern is my favorite) or kelly or collins
gransfors bruk do a very nice double bit for similar money to the one in your too

Thank you Adam, I am watching a Norlund Hudson Bay, a Wetterings and a Schickle Damascus now, can see that there are a lot of very good makes that are quite cheap in their $ prices.

Yeah norlund is very good too. Is the wetterlings a double bit?....if so i'd like to see that. I'm not the worlds biggest fan of wetterings, i'v had the heel snap off on two of their axes and the new stuff is a bit rough around the edges for same price as gransfors bruk

I'd have to reserve judgement until i saw how it performed never mind how it looks

Always promised myself a double bit (or four) but as a rule i cant get on with straight hafts on an axe so never got one
