Have you noticed how many turn up for the summer one, when it's nice and warm, sunny and dry ! Although in times gone by the winter one was of far more importance. Just so happens it's cold , wet and muddy for the winter one . And only a handful turn out

necro-thread revival.
Rod, I thought the summer festival was cold, wet and muddy, with the winter festival being permafrost. We are talking about England, right?

Hi Radgast,
Quite timely though.
I will in fact be AWOL (more than usual) this week. Off to IWA in Germany for a few meetings with manufacturers / suppliers to see what new goodies we can offer you all.
Mad panic until then trying to get things manufactured and out the door.
Cheers
Clive

Have fun! The one story from IWA that always stuck in my mind was Hirtenberger's test Glock with a quarter of a million rounds through it. I've only 25,000 through mine. *sigh*

It's all relative Radders, if it stops raining for a minute and we get a break in the clouds we call that a summers day

. Permafrost's probably better than mud, until you realise Clive's probably prancing about in bare feet and wearing nothing under some sort of rough woven smock. An icy cold thermal uprising around the dangly bits and frostbite of the tootsies could be painful for a bloke that's getting on a bit now
