renewal times

Anybody here waiting for renewals how long they taking,put renewal in start of august ,feo inspection start of november and still waiting for renewal ,didn,t expect it to take this long. Was hoping to have it back for the shooting show,cant see it happening.

my renewal was due 5th Jan.....

put the forms in on the 3rd Dec, had my visit by my FEO on the 10th Dec, new ticket on the doormat on the 22nd Dec :thumbup:

thats with Sussex police.

credit where credits due, I think the longest I've ever had to wait is 6 weeks.........so very happy with the service

Had a letter in September to put in for renewal. Expires Feburary. Thats Thames Valley. Had a water leak , came throught the ceiling and flooded the department.Mine you would have taken months IF they did not have a flood. Did send a copy of the old one BUT I bet they still get if wrong. :lol:

North Yorkshire Police are really good. Did a one for one in 15 minutes with an appointment. Variation in a week and renewal in 10 days, can't fault them !! :D

HAMPSHIRE are pants, put in a variation for a 22.250 on the 6 Aug and got it back 2 days before xmas.

My sons change of address took nearly 5 months, a friend put his renewal in in august and after 3 calls to the firearms dept they admitted they lost it, he recieved his new one a few days before xmas, mine went in for renewal in oct,it expired early december,im still waiting

Hampshire 3 months. But at least they are sensible. They told me to hold my current license so I could still buy ammo as they have all my details anyway. Just a bit of an issue if I was going to do a 1 for 1. But luckily enough I have almost reached shooting nirvana with my current kit ......... Almost......

Gloop, if you don't suffer from newgunitis, then you are truly a Zen master.
I stopped counting at 100 different models shot or or owned and I still get cravings for a taste of strange.
