Intro from Down Under

Post by timelord » 05 Nov 2015, 11:57

Gooday to all from Australia--I,m a longtime hunter bow hunter clay target shooter and I,m looking to buy my first air rifle with a view to equip with night vision in the future.
Having watched many youtube clips it seems that the most expertise in this field comes from the UK that is why I,m here.
I hope to learn a lot from your collective wisdom and contribute in the future as I aquire equipment and experiences of my own.
Many thanx in advance
Al.

No need to fight. He's from Melbourne. I'm from Sydney. My superiority has already been established!
Welcome, Doctor. Keep in mind that unless you are very range / backstop limited, a rimfire will do everything an air rifle will and is probably cheaper.
If you do go the air rifle road:

The FX range and Optisan scopes have a good rep on here and are available in Vic from Hermann's.

It get's a bit obsessive down there. My uncle timed my grandfathers funeral around the Aussie Rules match broadcast. My parent's are wetbacks, they made it over the river from the third world to civilization. :)
