Thanks for having me

Post by churchillxxv » 03 Dec 2012, 19:19

Hello all, thanks to George chasing up my mistakingly deleted application, I'm here enjoying and already read loads :D

I'm looking to learn and understand the workings of night vision-I know nothing!
I do rather a lot of night time fox shooting and would invest what I would clasify as some serious money in some NV (If only I knew enough) I had chance to use a unit a good few years ago, I had a friend in the Forces.

Any way, as a starter I bought the £99.00 Bresser from Lidl last week to tinker with. Pound for pound, with a five year warranty, I am over the moon with it!

I will take this opportunity to appologise for the stupid questions that I will undoubtably ask, along with the many spelling mistakes/bad punctuation.

Cheers chaps

Hello Nick, and once again, apologies for the mistake earlier.

Great forum and great lads on here who'll go out of their way to answer any questions.

Bit keen on the shotguns here too. Nearest I've come to your username was a matched pair of AYA 25's with Churchill rib that I sold last year. Running an AYA No.2 s/s, Laurona o/u and a Benelli Crio s/a at the moment.

Here's a little gun porn for you:

You like?

They were a matched pair from inception, not just two like guns paired up. Gold inlays, rolled trigger guards, Prince of Wales stocks.

Simply weren't getting used and couldn't afford to have them lying around and not being used :( The cases cost £1300 each :o
