Off road spider buggy ?

Found this off road buggy while looking aroud on Youtube it is called a "Swincar" very different and very capable over rough uneven ground, worth a look just because ? (just google swincar) Thanks all Phil

Gloop, I am going to send you the drawings of the single 5th wheeled articulated trailer that you have not built yet , you could tow it behind like one of those child add-ons that are pulled behind a regular type push bike
Thanks Phil (seems that the base model of the buggy is going to retail for 10,000 Euros in October, good ideas and a nifty bit of metalwork anyway, would like to borrow one of these for a bit of fun on an old coal tip or rough ground for an afternoon or two)

No good with trials tyres on, you would need moto x at least and then may be useless on side slopes. Anyone on here that used to do trials will agree one of the hardest things to do on a side slope is lean the bike out, so the full tread of the tyre is in contact, and steer along the slope.
On this you have no choice in the matter, you will only have the side of the tread contacting the ground. A recipe for disaster on muddy or wet side slopes ........................ down you go !

Don't really think that this jalopy is ment for anything half serious, more of a "novelty luxury go cart" for whizzing around orchards/paddocks and at a basic model price of 10,000 Euros or so not many people would want to scratch or dirty the paint work. Would still think that you could squeeze a few afternoons of fun out it in a cut silage or hay field with a couple of dozen motorway cones. There are some bloody good old coal tips down this way that fit the bill just for the fun of it and to pump the blood around. Bought a Joyner 1600 Sand Viper last year "it gets from one end of a field to the other end mighty fast". Best and cheapest fun I own would be a original Mk1 LR and a original right hand drive Mk2 Haflinger. Thanks Phil

Had a few Mk1's, 80",86" and 88". Turned down a 107 5 door safari years ago Never owned a Haflinger, more's the pity, had a Unimog though . At the dorset steam fair were TWO 2010's, the predecessor to Mercedes Unimog, only 160 ish ever built. When I correctly identified it the owner of one let us through the ropes for a good look round it

There have been several of those small vintage mini Unimogs in Bridhtwells auctions when they used to be at Shobdon Aerodrome, a few had massive screw snow blowers on the front driven off a auxiliary engine that took up all the space on the back bed of the body. Seen to remember that one only made £440.00 + Vat mileage on another was only something like 12,000 km must have been all of 65 plus years old, ugly front split glass screen that was angled forward where it run from in front of the dash up to the sort of square'ish flat roof. Like seeing any of the old stuff, I missed out on a large stationary steam engine a bit less than 3 years ago I was 2 months to late after a scrap man had put a lamp through it after an old farmer had passed on.
