Hello all
This Walmart offer is so cheap it could make anyone very jealous of some of the bargains in the US.
"Federal Dove & Small Game 1 1/8 oz. in 12 gauge in shot size of 7.5 or 8 with a velocity of 1200fps for only $4.94 a box.
Walmart staff get a further discount of another 10% on top

Not a bit of good to us over here but a brilliant price for any US shooters

Thanks all. Phil

I'll have to take a peek at them. I have a feeling, they're too good to be true.
Wal-Marx has the buying power to meet with a manufacture, tell them I want your product, but it has to come in xxx size box, meet xxx spec, and cost Walmart xxx dollars wholesale. If you don't comply, we will never buy from you again.
Wal-a-caust did this to Winchester. Win/Olin started supplying Walmart with 100rd packages of the worst, garbage, shotgun shells known to man. They would not cycle in auto loaders. Steel instead of brass. The husks were of some cheap corrugated plastic that made them un-reloadable. Steel shot only. They disappointed folks.

Asda supermarkets are part of Walmart but I don't think we'll be seeing shotgun shells on the shelves anytime soon. Good job too if they're cheap and nasty crap.
Lidl or Aldi perhaps.....

Thanks Fizz.
I have used Federal ammo quite often over a lot of years, they are cheap and cheerful and do the job as good as a lot of other makes, not keen on 7.5 shot size myself but I would buy couple of thousand at those sort of prices in a heartbeat just for through aways on decoying Jackdaws and Magpies etc. You could not price the "reloading out the door cost" for that "ballpark price of more or less £3.00 a box plus a few pence already made" etc. Cheaper than chips really
Thanks all Phil.
