Give this a bit of a bump. I have read a bit more since my first post and realise this same question must get asked but has anyone had any luck with the lower end of the NV gear ? Ebay type kit or the Base optics NV90 ?

Just to add I did read some reviews about the ebay kit, some say fine for a bit of ratting others say they are shocking and could either get a decent view or a decent reticle in focus but not both but it appears that is a problem for non AO scopes. I don't know about that and looking for confirmatio...
