Re: Introduction / Putting a HikMicro Stellar SH50 on a break barrel rifle?
G'day Lee, I have many quite powerful break-barrel or springer air rifles where I live in Australia, but take great care about what scopes and mounts I use. I would be very worried about mounting an expensive thermal scope on any springer, let alone a more powerful one. Some years ago I had a FeinWe...

Re: What is a good rifle ?
G'day nvFlobalob , "If I were you I would move somewhere else, somewhere where I had some freedom." Thankfully I live on a farm in the country so paranoid anti-firearm people are few and far between. [Unfortunately, we do get people from cities moving into small properties in the district. Often, th...

Re: What is a good rifle ?
nvFlobalob : "A little mag such as you are looking for would not be hard to ship to Australia." I hope you're correct. My wife is currently in northern Wisconsin visiting her family and will be bringing two magazines back in a few days. I did obtain permission to import them from the local Police F...

Re: What is a good rifle ?
G'day, Undoubtedly there are many excellent rifles available. Some of the older models by Anschutz, BRNO and other makers are wonderful and accurate, but an issue that has affected me and others is parts availability for such older rifles. For instance replacement magazines for my Anschutz 1532 [.22...

Re: Wanted sightmark wraith or zb pro mount
G'day,
I bought my ZB lite universal from Drew's Lab. It's a brilliant mount for the PARD and is holding zero on my .22 Magnum as an increasing number of foxes and hares could testify - if they were alive!

Re: Trigger stick/ rests
fizzbagwhallop : "Quad sticks will give you a much more stable platform to shoot from though…I reckon I could probably have a reasonable zeroing session on mine they’re that steady." I have to agree with this, though using the trigger stick to support the rifle stock at the rear while resting the f...

Commiserations to the England football team; they played well. Is there any truth in the rumor that the Italian football team will now go on to Tokyo for the Olympics with its members participating in the diving and wrestling competitions?

Re: Chinese bug in the UK
Thanks Bruce, I have actually studied the history of the British isles, especially From Edward I onwards and the constant conflicts between the English, the Scots, the Welsh and a little about the Irish who I believe enlisted Robert the Bruce to help them evict the English invaders. [I understand th...

Re: Chinese bug in the UK
G'day Gents, I'm sure that geography is playing a role with your small island of England being about the size of my state of Victoria. We have 6 million people in Victoria while you are packed to the gunnels with thousands of immigrants still trying to get in. You're not alone in having 'ditherers' ...
