How much was the samyang if you don't mind me asking? I think 75mm will give me the best balance between field of view and magnification. I rarely even a just my add on off its lowest mag setting when taking shots as it helps me to remember target size against the reticle and aim points / correction...

I would have preferred a fixed 75mm len's or similar myself. Get a pic up and I may have a punt. Can anyone give a rough estimation of the predicted magnification that the various lenses give compared to a riflescope. I use a 50 mm on my spotter which is great but unsure it would quite do the busine...
