Just to add, seriously consider getting a separate spotting scope. Spotting with your rifle in the dark is bad form, lovers, dog walkers, and drunks can be out and about, if you scan with your rifle scope then you risk sweeping them with your muzzle. hi, " shooting /scanning" my own private lands! ...
