Thanks always good to hear other poeples thoughts , its still a lot of money if its badly spent and Night vis appears to be one area that this can happen .

Any comments on why you didnt like the Yukon Photon , I was thinking about one for my .17 HMR for rabbits later in the year when they become more avaiable , be interested to know.

If the x searcher head is to be used for night vision IR use then I woudnt rush out to buy one if I was you , it is slightly and only slightly brighter than the standard NM 800 head but not £70 brighter if you get my drift .
