My mate and I would get our bums kicked into touch if we suddenly declared a closed season on foxes and rabbits and we would damn soon have no where to shoot! there wasn't a single frost in Cornwall all year when we went down to sort a rabbit problem during xmas week, with it being so warm we thought we'd arrive a little late and spend the week digging through stone walls to nests. strangely enough the number of milky doe's probably just crept into double...

A bitch cant have a second litter if she's been grassed, still leaves cubs starving to death. Pest or not we have a duty to act humanely, where possible. We have seasons for deer, wildfowl, released birds etc for good reason. Most people shoot for sport,, if your doing pest control as paid contract...
