Are you saying that's what the OP should buy or that you have one for sale ?

Hi Dan.
Advise.
You will have found out with the photon extreme that finding quarry in the first place is hard due to the narrow field of view, here a "good" n/v add on system will beat it as you can locate the quarry on say 3/4 mag, then once on it mag up to 12 or more with still as good as or better picture than the photon.

If you can get on with t/v type screen then the EVO n/v add on that "some bloke" on here sells will give you the range of the Wardy n/v, for a lot less money.

Ive been buying and using several night vision's over the last 10 years and i have spent 1,000's of pounds on them, best n/v add on's at the moment are the "Wardy"700/800, i have the 700, ive used a 800L, and to my eye's its no better than my 700.

My advise, buy either a good second hand 700 (these's go for around £500) or a second hand or new 800.

How deep are your pockets - and have you always 'looked through' a near eye device or seen a heads up monitor device like the one in my photo below or the nightsight - or some of the crude rubber pipe one's from the bottom of the barrel on ebay that have the monitor too close to focus on properly?

That about limits your choice of an add on to a used NT300 (one on the bay) or a WDV.

My little experience of tubed add on required a longer more flexibile neck than I have - and eyes further away from my nose might have been helpful too. :D

Forget tubed unless you can afford a front add-on (PVS27), otherwise it's a WDV 700 or 800

Cheers
