Four Tonight.

Postby Brooksy » 26 Sep 2017, 21:34

Yukon Photon XT and a Ludicrous Lumens IR unit fitted to my .177 Air Ranger, zeroed and out tonight, battle commenced at 19.20, by 20.00 there were four in the bag, best shot at 45 yards. I only packed up after the resident horse started to get a bit rowdy, didn't fancy trying to aim my shooting stick at her nose in total darkness! The Extreme conversion is well worth the small investment, it makes it a far better piece of kit.

It's a Hanimar 55 mm with the M42 thread. I got it off the Bay for about £20.00. You don't need to spend massive money as it's all in the dark anyway, but being able to adjust the shutter blades makes a difference as you can make use of depth of field.
