I have just heard this morning that a silent rotary intensity switch is soon to be available for EVO torches.

I prefer twising the cap for on/off operation and not just because it is silent. It is better than putting pressure on the rest of the rig which is invariably sat atop shooting sticks, so it other associated noises when moving at all. Twisty twisty is the way forward

Yes - I'm saying what I think you are asking. :lol:

It'll likely cost a bit more than one with a regular clicky tail cap - dunno if they'll be available separately.

That means a dimmable (rather than 3-mode) pill, and a continuously variable (such as rotary) switch.

Yes that would be nice.

Are there not a few high end illuminators that do that already?
