pinuser1,

Thanks for that - I think I'mswayed with going for a New Evo 50 over the T67. What range are you able to shoot out to with that torch?

Realistically, shoot to 120-50 yds with a 50 mm lens comfortably , get a single cell one, 2 cell ones tooooooo long ! A T67 will give you 200 plus but will look like a postage stamp image size ! And dont forget the t67 is a bit of a beast , also a consideration is the torch mount ! People love the NM800 but is well overpriced for what it is, works but expensive, usually these torches come with a 3 mode driver low/med /high as well, unless you build one yourself a dimmer is useful, stand corrected some come with dimmer/rotery switches but expensive, more food for thought, ideally go for a red to spot eyes, invest in a useful nv system such as someblokes , bang for buck and you wont look back, .......the darkside is a calling :shh:

Thanks. My NV is currently sorted it's just a torch setup at sensible money I'm trying to sort. From what you've said I think the Evo 50 will be they wa to go at around £55 including batts, charger and a 'universal mount'.

one of the new T38'S with red pill will do those ranges nicely...i did have two cells in it at the time if that makes any diference.

out to near on 200 yards. yes its a spot(square) but quite workable.
