22lr Eley subs loss of power

Post by Davesniper » 28 Oct 2017, 22:51

I am a big fan of Eley subs my set up is brno n870 lrf zeroed at 60 yds first marker down on crosshair use to be bob on for 100 yds second mark was 120 yds well that was last year I always weight my brick batches when I was acheving the above.... bullet weight on scales weighed 52gr my last 1,000 rounds only weighed 47gr so we're falling short on hold over.
I have lately moved on to RWS they weighed in at 52 gr and hold over is back to normal shame as Eley just had the edge in accuracy ...has any body noticed this also.

Dave.

Could be due to the change in bullet weight from 40 to 38gn on the new stuff coming through?
